THE WEST EYE HOSPITAL QUALITY POLICY

           

The WEST EYE HOSPITAL is a private ophthalmology (monoprofile) hospital, located in the central area of Bucharest. The hospital currently houses 13 day-time hospitalization beds and provides health care services on a day hospital care and out-patient basis.

            The quality policy is the tool allowing the hospital to improve its performance so that better services may be provided to the people coming to the hospital, while placing particular emphasis on the clinical excellence, and patient safety and satisfaction.

The main goals of the WEST EYE hospital are as follows:

  • Organising and operating the hospital in order to meet all the quality requirements demanded by the patients and by the applicable regulations in force so as to ensure competitiveness;
  • Building and maintaining a total quality management system by involving all the employees, while placing the PATIENT at the centre of our concerns;
  • Creating a proper working environment for the provision of high quality health care services.

The WEST EYE Hospital approaches the quality concept as a way for meeting the Patients’ needs.

            The basic requirement for making all of the above come true is the compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System implemented in the hospital, according to the SR EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, a system based on the process approach. This system provides the framework for activity improvement through:

  • Monitoring the activities in order to permanently improve the processes;
  • Continuously training the employed staff an motivating them to increase the professional level of the WEST EYE Hospital;
  • Managing the clinical and nonclinical risks.

In order to reach a high standard for the health care services provided to our Patients, the hospital management places a strong emphasis on the continuous training of the employed staff and on the implementation of the state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment processes and technologies.

            Through this Quality Policy, I hereby undertake:

  • To communicate to the employees our patient-oriented approach and the importance of upholding the legal requirements;
  • To ensure the quality goals are achieved and the resources are available;
  • To conduct the management analyses;
  • To meet the needs of all the concerned parties, starting with the Patient, and to continuously improve the quality management system

The Quality Policy is made available to the public by being displayed at the Hospital Headquarters and on the Hospital webpage.
